I apologize for my month+ long hiatus.

Recent health concerns, including back surgery to my wife's mother and a few Emergency room visits has not lent itself to me being online. My wife and I have been taking care of said mother and getting her little sisters to and from school. Aside from that, all other time has been at work, trying to spend time with my wife, roughly 1 hour a day, and sleeping round out the days events.

Just got back from a mini-vacation, and my wife and I are rejuvenated.

As far as other concerns:

My BST is 59, got lucky with another khroma ore and able to buy hauby. Been slow leveling - moved to Frozen 'Ule' just to get some mobs to keep. - I'll post some pics next update, which should be soon.

DND is going, and my druid's campaign is almost to an end.

Misc: So much stuff to fix and so little time and money. Seems to be the theme until spring gets here.

FFXI:
A bit of a break from FFXI, just got back into it this week. I find the most out of the way camps, and people still camp on me. Kind of frustrating. Killed NQ Behe with 5 in zone vs 25 from other LS's.

DND:
Now Level 5 Druid and a bit richer, as I found Bracers of Armor +6. I'm not blaming the way they wrote the adventure.

Personal:
Looking for a new-used car as my other was totaled as far as the insurance company was concerned.

Misc:
Looking for printers is like looking for cars. Which one is going to screw you the least in overall cost.

FFXI:
All BST, all the time, just dinged 49 from last update i did, ill post screens when not at work.

MISC:
Too Much traveling this week and too many gatherings in my estimation.

DND:
Been taking that off pretty much until after the new-year is done. Did clear a dungeon that took my druid from 3 to 5.

Been a while since my last post so lets get to it.

FFXI:
BST is now up to 37, and I am enjoying it, trying to push for 40 by thanksgiving. Just earlier today, took down Tiamat. Lack of damage the first hour and a half was the reason it took so long. Also, big ups to Arkanethered, who tanked it solo until more could come on line. Stingy wyrm only left us a Siren Hair...orz...

DND:
4th Edition Started, and got halfway through the first adventure set. Went fairly well in my estimation, but got to poll the players to find out.

RL:
Too Many Turkeydays, but, if they are making me work thanksgiving, I am staying the whole time and getting my 2.5x/hr wage.

BST'ing it up.

I recently started this fancy job on my new toon called Beastmaster. Anyway, it was at 22 when I got it. After a few sessions out its now 25. Pain is, the real xp wont start until 34. Until then, I will have to just do my smallfry 4.2k/hr w/o ring strat, as it seems to be the most steady availablilty of Experience out there. I do like that I can go out w/o having to get a party and get away from bard for a bit as well

In other FFXI News, I am now 2/3 on Khroma ore Runs. /joy

DND:

I forgot the being an PC character could be so much fun. Druid is a really solid class that really does not need any prestige class to make it better. Being neutral for the class makes me fell great. Also, duping about 30k gold in magic items by level 3 is always a bonus. Healing Collar for my Wolf, and getting a Ring of Fire Resist +5 and a +2 Spear make me happy.

Story on the Collar: My DM had a cat sitting on top of a treasue chest that contained alot of gold for level 2 characters. This was on the backend of the adventure, ment to be done during the adventure. Anyway, no means of talking to the cat will get it off the chest and anytime you touch it, it attacks you. I get the idea to have my wolf snatch the cat and take it outside the room and hold it. Had the Wizard NPC we saved use a spell to open it. DM puts in the Hand of Contrivo and says that it would not open, so I let go of the cat and it just goes back to the top of the chest.

Out-of-game, I confered with him, and he admitted I foiled his plans a bit and actually found a way around the defense. We were not suppose to have the aid of the Wizard NPC on this, so he decided to screw me and save it for another time.

RL:

I guess I could be doing better. My wife's side seems to have me as the only abled body young man with a life and time to burn on speeddial. Note that I do not mind doing these errands, but I would like to be doing them not as much. I guess I just need to say no every once in a while.

Misc:

Elections are coming around the corner. Still unsure of who to vote for at this point. Both do not settle well with me and I have no clear favorite at this time. I know history will be made this election. Either we will have the first female VP or we will have a dark-colored man as President.

FFXI:
Got the Astral Candy back Saturday Afternoon with a crack team of people including myself. About 2.5 hours from departure to recovery, 1 pt must have gotten there before us, because the BLM was at 33% with the cor at 75% and the RNG Boss at full. Fight was about 25 minutes - Last Part I put up on youtube: www.youtube.com/watch as I spent a good portion of it dead. Watch it in High-def if you can, so it does not look like total suck.

Once I put the other part of the fight into my video-editing stuff to give it some fast motion, I will post that as well. Did not tape the BLM zerg portion. White Mage Bene's about @ 3% and right after I die, everyone else goes full HP from unweak, PLD and BLM rock the Kite action, and we see candy once more. I came back to WG, and shouted: "You can all XP again, we got your tasty candy back!!! Once I am on tomorrow morning, I'll post pics of the nice message that showed up for everyone after the fight.

RL: Got to eat at Applebee's before coming to work. I waddled in instead of walking.

Before that: Missy was out of sorts today, while going to Applebee's for lunch, my wife turned the wrong way onto a one-way street. My horn on my car does not work, so I covered my eyes for about 5 seconds. Thankfully, no one was coming in the lane she turned into. She found a parking lot to turn around in and came back out the correct way. When we got there, she said herself she took 3 years off her life, I said it took 5 off mine, and they wonder why men die first most of the time. She got another 2 years on me.

DND: Started my friends attempt at a 3.5 campaign. Being a druid is pretty fun, even at first level. Aside from being the official healbot as a druid is not pleasing, because I was looking away from Cleric for a change, it is quite fun. Party = Druid (myself), Knight, Sorcerer, and Monk. Almost forgot what it was like to be a PC instead of a DM.

Misc:
RB2 looks good with selection. Pretty Fly for a White Guy is enough to do a Download. Everlong on Expert Drums = new RttH. Includes Linkin Park, Foo Fighters, Metallica, SoaD, some 80's fun, much more recent stuff from what I saw. Did not have full list set atm, just what I have seen on youtube.
